Davidson County Senior Services Announces "Healthy Eating Every Day" Program
Thomasville, NC – Davidson County Senior Services is excited to announce a new offering to its list of evidence-based programming for senior adults. Healthy Eating Every Day is a practical, evidence-based program that teaches you how to improve your eating habits in ways that fit your lifestyle. This new class series is scheduled on Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. July 30 through October 29 at the Davidson County Senior Center in Thomasville (211 W. Colonial Dr.). This 14-week series will be provided free of charge to county residents age 55 and older.
Improve your health and simply feel better with smarter eating habits. Healthy Eating Every Day contains checklists, charts, activities and reminders to help you personalize the program and enjoy the process of learning how to eat healthy. Learn how to create shopping lists that include healthy foods, balance calories to achieve and maintain a healthy weight, eat well when dining out or away from home and set personal goals to help you reduce your sodium intake or increase the number of fruits and vegetables you eat. Healthy Eating Every Day will give you the resources and confidence you need to improve your health simply by eating right.
