Lexington Police Arrest Two After Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle

Lexington, NC – November 17, 2025 – On Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 2:07 p.m., LPD officers located a reported stolen vehicle being operated by two subjects and attempted to stop it. The driver of the stolen vehicle failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit. The driver struck two vehicles during the pursuit before crashing at Cotton Grove Rd. and New Haven Dr. The driver and Passenger of the stolen vehicle were apprehended at the scene of the crash and were transported by EMS to Baptist Hospital for treatment. Both were treated for minor injuries then placed in the Davidson County Jail.

No other injuries were reported during the incident, and no law enforcement vehicles were damaged. Davidson County Sheriffs Office and North Carolina State Highway Patrol assisted in the pursuit of the stolen vehicle.

Slycord was charged with the following and held under a $25,000.00 secured Bond.

• Outstanding Warrants for Felony Probation Violation

• Felony flee to elude arrest with motor vehicle

• Felony possession of stolen motor vehicle

• Fail to heed blue lights and siren

• Driving While License Revoked

• Hit and Run

• Felony possession of methamphetamine

• Felony possession of cocaine

• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

• Resist Delay Obstruct
