Uptown Lexington to Host Spring Wine Down Event May 17

As spring hits its stride and Lexington’s streets come alive with color, Uptown is setting the stage for an afternoon where wine glasses clink, shop doors swing open, and music drifts through the air. On Saturday, May 17, the Uptown Wine Down returns, inviting locals and visitors alike to sip, stroll and explore all that the district has to offer.

Uptown Lexington will host its seasonal Wine Down event on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., offering visitors an afternoon of wine tasting, shopping, and live music throughout the district.

The event invites attendees to explore Uptown’s local boutiques and small businesses while sampling wines from regional wineries. Shops will offer in-store specials, and live entertainment will add to the festive atmosphere.

Tickets are available for $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event, while supplies last.

Wine Down is designed to spotlight Uptown Lexington’s retail scene and promote local wineries. Organizers describe it as a way to support small businesses while offering a relaxed, community-centered experience.
