On Monday, September 12, 2022, the Davidson County Health Department received lab results from the State Lab of Public Health confirming a positive rabies case in Denton. The Davidson County Health Department will host a rabies vaccination clinic on September 22, 2022 at the Davidson County Health Department. The clinic will provide vaccines from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. Animals must be at least 3 months of age to be eligible and vaccines will cost $9 per animal.

The Lexington Fire Department responded to a structure fire yesterday at 5:35 pm. The single-family home on West Fifth Street showed heavy smoke from the front of the structure. Responding crews were advised that all occupants were out, but a cat was still inside.

His menu relied on high quality ingredients and focused on simplicity that allowed the ingredients to shine. He wanted to source his ingredients locally however it became very difficult. Small farms were hard to come by in the area of Colorado where he and his wife resided at the time, this caused him to become interested in what it would take to grow his own ingredients. “I had a little experience with gardening from helping my mom and grandma in the garden when I was a kid, but I knew I had a lot I needed to learn,” he says.
