The Davidson County NAACP-Lexington Branch with the support of the community and organizations have been sponsoring Free Fun Days at the Pool for children ages 0 to 17. for the past 20 plus years. It started at the Washington Park Swimming Pool. After the Splash Pad Park replaced the Washington Park Swimming Pool, the support continued to the Lexington Aquatic Park. This will still be a very successful year, 387 children will be able to go to the pool free of charge.
