Davidson County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Two Dollar General Robbery Incidents

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Davidson County Sheriff’s Patrol deputies responded to an armed robbery at a Dollar General store.

A short time before that incident, an attempted robbery occurred at another Dollar General location. That attempt was interrupted when a customer walked in, prompting the suspect to casually leave the store.

In both cases, the suspect was described as a slim Black male wearing black shoes with white trim, black athletic or jogging pants, a black hoodie with a small white icon, a black ski mask, and mirrored sunglasses. He approached both stores on foot and left the same way. No vehicle was seen associated with the suspect.

Surveillance images are included below.

Detectives with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division interviewed victims and witnesses at the scene. Witnesses reported no unusual speech patterns or distinctive gait.

Anyone with information or cases involving a similar modus operandi is asked to contact the Davidson County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division.
