Denton Police Seek Public’s Help After Early-Morning Vehicle Break-In

Denton Police are asking for the community’s assistance following an early-morning incident in which a suspect was seen entering a vehicle on Bryon Street around 3 a.m.

According to police, the individual appeared to be searching for items to steal before fleeing the area. He was last seen running north on NC 109 shortly after committing the crime.

Investigators are urging nearby residents to check their camera systems for any footage that may help identify the suspect. Police also remind the public to keep their vehicles locked and to remain alert for suspicious persons or activity.

Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement immediately by calling 911.

Officials thanked the community for their continued cooperation as the investigation moves forward.
