Third Arrest Made in Jessup Street Homicide Case
The Lexington Police Department has announced a third arrest connected to the June 7 shooting death of 19-year-old Xzavion Tyleal Booker.
Just after 1:40 a.m. that morning, officers responded to a call at 102 Jessup Street, Apt. B, where they found Booker deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators determined the incident occurred during a home invasion.
Since the homicide, detectives have worked extensively with the Davidson County District Attorney’s Office and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.
Their efforts led to the arrest of Sejimarion Stiller, 28, of Salisbury, who was initially charged on July 7 with felony accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and later released on bond. On October 3, police rearrested Stiller and charged him with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree burglary, six counts of kidnapping, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Also arrested that same day was Tomanche Jackson, 27, of Salisbury, facing identical charges. Both men remain held in the Davidson County Jail without bond.
On October 15, detectives charged Tariq Mosley, 28, of Greensboro, with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree burglary, six counts of kidnapping, and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Mosley was served with warrants at the Guilford County Jail, where he was already being held on unrelated charges. He remains jailed without bond and is scheduled to appear in Lexington District Court on November 13, 2025.
Police say this remains an active and ongoing investigation.
