With its close ties to the North Carolina Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Thomasville offers more than a celebration—it offers a place of meaning.

Each year we come together as a nation on Veterans Day to honor and celebrate the hundreds of thousands of brave Americans who have served our country in uniform. Davidson County is joining our colleagues across the nation in launching Operation Green Light for Veterans.
North Carolina will celebrate “Employ A Veteran Week" November 11th through 15th and a variety of events before and during that week will help connect veterans to jobs and other services, Governor Roy Cooper recently announced.
