Key to the City: Bob Sink Honored for a Lifetime of Service to Lexington

At 94, Bob Sink isn’t slowing down—he’s just shifting gears. The lifelong Lexington resident was recently awarded the key to the city in a surprise ceremony honoring more than six decades of community service, from building gas lines and Habitat homes to mentoring youth and restoring a classic 1931 Nash. Sink’s motto is simple: stay involved and keep giving back.

Animal Care Foundation thanks DCSO Officers for rescue and foster care

On Friday, June 27th, justice was served for 177 dogs in Davidson County! This is a case that ACF {Animal Care Foundation} has been working with our DCSO Officer Soles and Cpl. Daniel since December 2024. Thanks to an anonymous tip, from a concerned citizen, we started on the ground with this case. One by one, month by month, as of, this past Friday, ALL dogs, including their personal dogs, have been removed from the property. This includes the horses too.
